2615, wearing distinctive Summit line "bug-eyes" on platform roof, takes cautious turn from Central Ave. to Ferry St. on a sultry spring day in 1941. Note condition of paving and track, perennial sore spot for motorists. (SE. 4-307.56XL).

No trackage worries as 2615 descends long grade on Hoboken trestle, greeting oncoming 2805. Trestle was torn down in January, 1950, five months after trolley service in Hudson County ended. 2615 was last car operated on Sumit line. August 7, 1949.
